i love this quote by jared tomas. it’s pretty much the motto that i live by since i live on a budget and wear all of my clothes multiple times a month [insert chorus of girls gasping]. it’s all about mixing and matching for me, and sometimes i’ll have a statement piece, but mostly i like keeping it simple. here’s the full quote:
“Keep it simple. Always dress well, but keep it simple. Buy a good pair of boots, they’ll probably outlast you. Always go to a good barber. Always treat others how you wish to be treated. whether it’s fashion or my lifestyle, i’ve been one to keep paring down what i own or what i do. streamlining my social mediums has been helpful, and making a real effort to connect face-to-face with friends as opposed to posting it all over facebook is something i’ve been convicted to do. the more simply you live, the less complicated your life will be…at least, that’s how i see it.
i don’t always do this well or live the way i ought to, but i’m keeping my eyes open – aware of my surroundings and looking forward to living simply. and of course, with style.
